WSOP Poker

A series of poker tournaments is held every year in Las Vegas since 2005. They are called the world series of poker (WSOP).  The winners are all awarded with cash prizes in the 70s. The number of participants increased every year until 2006. In 2006, a new legislation came up, which restricted the number of online qualifiers to the events.

There are many restrictions ever since. The wsop poker tournament took place in Pavilion and Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2011.
You will have to be at least 21 years of age to play in the World Series poker. There is an age requirements for the senior events; you will have to be at least 50 years of age. The registrations are done online in their website, www.WSOP.com or by visiting their office. You will have to pre-register two weeks before the event. This is because the capacity is limited. Pre registration will guarantee them a seat in the events.

You cannot ask a third person to pay your registration the poker farm fees or pre register for you. You will have to do it in person. Guests are allowed to watch the game. It is free of cost, but they will have to be at least 21 years of age. There are many events that will take place.

There is an event called “Shoot out”. In this “shootout”  betfair poker tournament, the player has to beat all the other players in the table to go to the next round. If the shootout tournament has 1000 players, they will start with the first 100 tables of 10 players each. Then these ten players will play down to one player. This will go on until only ten players are left in the end. The last ten players will fight for the Bracelet. All the players are given equal stack of coins in the beginning of each round.
